Need a catchy 5 min hook about us ... my text thoughts are not catchy enough ... we hire only those who are passionate about changing the world through education ... we focus on the possibilities for the future within the practicalities of the present. Both of these are critical to designing an innovative, career-infused curriculum that is at once forward-focus and standards-driven. Our consulting team members are all former teachers and administrators, have 10+ years of experience, and see their role as partnering with educators to bring about innovation.
Our beginnings were rooted in Dr. Sulla's early design of her own classrooms that built student agency, were structured through standards-based problem-based learning, and resulted in strong academic achievement for each student. Over the years, so many school districts were asking her to help them replicate this framework in their schools that she started her consulting business. Since then we've been helping schools take bold steps to innovate, producing powerful results. Those are detailed in the RFP so we won't rehash those. Essentially, we believe you need a company that has repeatedly:
Designed innovative curricula and classrooms
Infused career readiness into curricula and classrooms, including designing upskilling training for post-HS students
Met project deadlines
Impressed clients with our innovation and attention to detail
You need a team of curriculum designers who are:
Subject-specific with middle-school teaching experience (do we have this in the team?)
Resourceful, flexible, and agile in addressing feedback and emerging needs
Always looking to go beyond what is expected to the unexpected
